1. Data controller
Caristeo Tecnologia is the controller of personal data processed through this website, under art. 5, VI of Brazilian Law No. 13,709/2018 (LGPD). The contact channel for privacy questions is hello@caristeo.com.
2. What data we collect
This website, in its public version, has no data-capture form or live chat of its own. We collect only: (a) your chosen browsing language, saved locally in your browser; (b) content you choose to send by clicking an email (mailto) link, which is processed directly by your own email client and is not stored on our servers.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Browsing language is processed based on our legitimate interest in providing a functional experience (art. 7, IX LGPD). Messages sent by email are processed based on preliminary procedures for a possible contract (art. 7, V), at the data subject's own initiative.
4. Sharing
We do not share, sell or rent data collected through this website with third parties for marketing purposes. Email you send reaches our institutional inbox directly; there are no intermediaries beyond the email providers used by us and by you.
5. Cookies and tracking technologies
This website does not currently use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. Full details are in the Cookie Policy.
6. Retention
The locally saved language preference remains only in your browser until you clear it. We do not maintain a database of public-site visitors.
7. International transfer
This website's infrastructure may involve hosting providers with servers outside Brazil. Where applicable, such transfer follows the mechanisms set out in art. 33 of the LGPD, detailed on the Subprocessors page.
8. Your rights
Under art. 18 of the LGPD, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion or information about sharing of any data processed through this website. Requests can be sent to hello@caristeo.com; formalizing a dedicated data protection officer and a standardized response deadline is in progress.
9. Children
This website is not directed at individuals under 18 and does not intentionally collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy whenever the website, its flows or applicable law change. The date at the top of this page indicates the current version.
